Thailand GDP 2.9% vs. 2.6% forecast

Thailand’s gross domestic product rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Monday. In a report, National Statistical Office Thailand said that Thai GDP rose to a seasonally adjusted 2.9%, from 2.8% in the preceding month. Analysts had expected Thai GDP to fall to 2.6% last month.
